It was the first mobility possible after the lockdown, which made it even more special.

Day 1

 

We had a tour of the town LUGOJ, visiting the major landmarks and were greeted by the Authorities in the town hall. Then there was a warm welcome in the partner school, with a play staged by Romanian students representing the culture of the region, as well as some traditional dance workshops and traditional music. 

Day 2

 

.We spent the day at Liceul Tehnologic “AUREL VLAICU” in Lugoj, with handicrafts, dances, workshops and posters

Day 3

 

We got to know the architecture of Romania, visiting the Banat Village Museum, the Art Museum and the beautiful city of Timisuara. Add a horse ride in picturesque Herneacova Domain - and you will get a day well-spent

Day 4
 

History and architecture linked together. Corvin’s Castle - a Gothic-Renaissance castle in Hunedoara, Romania. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and is featured as one of the Seven Wonders of Romania.

The fortress is located atop a volcano in the Poiana Ruscă Mountain Range within the Western Carpathian Mountains of Romania

Evaluation of the activities, farewell meeting

The activities allowed the students and teachers to better understand the cultural diversity, to bond with each other, to see that different nations still have many things in common

​
